How does Orbit work?
When a client cancels an appointment, Orbit automatically detects the open slot and notifies your Waitlist via email. The first person to respond claims the slot, and the appointment is automatically scheduled.
How does the auto-fill work?
When a slot opens up, Orbit instantly notifies people on your Waitlist. The first person to claim it gets the slot. This happens automatically—no manual outreach needed.
Do clients need to download an app?
No! Clients book through a simple web link that works on any device. No app downloads, no sign-ups, just fast booking.
Can I connect my existing calendar?
Yes! Orbit syncs with Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple iCloud — use one, two, or all three. Whatever works for your workflow. Changes appear instantly (Starter plan and above).
How does the Waitlist work?
When clients cannot get their preferred time, they join your Waitlist. If that slot opens up, they are automatically notified and can claim it. No manual phone calls needed.
What happens if multiple people want the same slot?
To ensure fairness and urgency, the first person notified has a 10-minute priority window to claim the slot. If they don’t claim it, it moves to the next person in line. First to confirm wins.
Is there a free plan?
Yes! Our Free plan is forever free for up to 50 bookings per month. No credit card is required to sign up. You only pay if you need more bookings or advanced features like calendar sync.
Can clients reschedule or cancel?
Absolutely. Every booking confirmation includes reschedule and cancel links. Clients can manage their own appointments without calling you.
