Security at Orbit
We build Orbit with security as a foundation and aim to describe our protections clearly, without overstating certifications or guarantees.
Encryption
Orbit uses HTTPS for connections to the application. Sensitive credentials are handled server-side and are being strengthened with encrypted storage.
Authentication
Account authentication and session management are provided by Clerk. Available account security controls depend on the configured sign-in method.
Infrastructure
Orbit is deployed through Vercel and uses server-side application routes for database, email, calendar, and payment operations.
Data Protection
Orbit uses server-side access controls, organization-scoped database queries, and signed payment webhooks to protect business data.
Access Control
Authenticated dashboard operations are checked against the active account and organization before data is changed.
Compliance
Orbit does not currently claim SOC 2, GDPR, or other formal certification. Review our Privacy Policy and contact us with compliance questions.

Orbit uses dependency checks, code review, automated testing, and error monitoring to identify and address issues as the product evolves.

If you believe you have found a security issue, contact us promptly at the address below. We will investigate and communicate appropriate next steps.
Data Retention
Data handling and deletion requests are described in our Privacy Policy. Contact us if you need help reviewing or deleting account data.
Responsible Disclosure
We welcome responsible reports of potential vulnerabilities. Please contact HelpOrbit@outlook.com with enough detail for us to reproduce the issue. Orbit does not currently operate a paid bug bounty program.
Governing Law
This security policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising under or relating to this policy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Georgia.
